Petco store events to feature live animals. These events are marketed in several ways including email, mail and media. These events are an excellent time to have adoptions at our stores as there is a great chance for increased traffic and exposure. In addition, if you have an organization that adopts any of the animals featured at these events, contact your general manager to ensure you and your adoptable animals are scheduled the day of the event.

Foundation Fundraisers
Tree Of Hope Tree Of Hope is conducted during the Christmas holiday period. Recipients of donated funds may be any Petco Foundation animal welfare Charitable Partner. This fundraiser celebrates the human/animal bond.
Spring A Pet Spring A Pet is conducted during the Easter holiday period. Recipients of donated funds should be those animal welfare organizations that are involved with animal placement.
Spay/Neuter Spay/Neuter fundraisers are conducted in the summer season. Recipients of donated funds should be animal welfare organizations that are involved with promoting, conducting or advocating spay/neuter initiatives and actions.
Breeds in Need Breeds in Need is conducted during the month of September. Recipients of donated funds should be breed-specific dog or cat placement or advocacy groups.
