Apply for assistance from Petco Foundation
Being a partner of Petco has many benefits. Not only are you able to expose more adoptable animals to animal lovers, but we have resources available to help your organization’s efforts in saving lives. The Petco Foundation is an organization that has served as a voice for companion animals across the country since 1999. Each year, they help animal welfare organizations find lifelong, loving homes for millions of orphaned pets, as well as fund spay and neuter efforts, animal-assisted therapy programs and humane education.
Financial and material resources are provided to our partners through an online grant process and are provided to the areas that we see the greatest need. Are you a partner in need?
To apply for support from the Petco Foundation:
- Set up an account through our online grant application software. You will need:
- Name and address info for yourself and your organization
- Name and address info for the CEO of the organization
- IRS-issued Tax ID Number for the organization
- Submit a Letter of Inquiry.
- You should receive an email response to the address you list in the Letter of Inquiry within 2 weeks.
- Please ensure you have petco.com listed in your accepted senders list. We will not follow up to see if you received our response.
- Upon email approval, you are invited to log back in and complete the full application.
- The review process takes 8-12 weeks from the date that the Application is submitted and complete.
